«VR Cube» is the first virtual reality club in the city of Lviv, where every citizen or guest of the city can plunge into the magical world of illusions. The technological basis for the provision of the service is the HTC VIVE virtual reality helmet.
This virtual reality headset was developed by two companies, HTC and Valve Corporation, and is part of the Steam VR program. The presentation of the VR helmet took place in 2014, and in 2015 the headset was announced at the Game Developers Conference.
According to experts, HTC VIVE is better than the Oculus Rift, although each has its own advantages. The VR HTC VIVE helmet refreshes the picture at a frequency of 90 Hz and allows you to demonstrate video at 90 fps. The resolution of each of the two screens is 1200x1080. HTC VIVE comes with two controllers. A special technology allows you to combine images of the real world with elements of virtual reality and form augmented reality.
